Preparation course for one of the six exams of the Applied Skills module of the ACCA professional qualification in English.
The syllabus for Financial Accounting (FA/FFA) introduces the candidate to the fundamentals of the regulatory framework relating to accounts preparation and to the qualitative characteristics of useful financial information. The syllabus then covers the principles of accounts preparation, including an in-depth look at recording, processing, and reporting business transactions and events. The syllabus also covers reconciliations, preparation of a trial balance, error correction and suspense accounts, all of which will lead to the preparation of financial statements for incorporated and unincorporated entities. The syllabus then moves in two directions, firstly requiring the preparation of basic consolidated financial statements from the individual financial statements of entities within a group; and secondly requiring candidates to be able to conduct a basic interpretation of financial statements.

How online learning works
- Studies all over the world
You can study at home, while traveling or on vacation, wherever there is an Internet. Online courses are not different from offline courses. You communicate with the tutor and other students, work in pairs and small groups. You can see the presentation, ask and answer questions

Initial registration is available all year round. You will need to complete the application form and upload the scan-copies of the documents. The information and documents are revised by ACCA Head office. Registration takes about 5–7 working days. Then access to the myACCA student personal account is opened. You can register for exams, make payments, download dockets, fill out forms on practical experience and professional ethics, etc

- complete the application form and upload the scan-copies of the documents
- pay initial registration fee
- Scan copy of the Diploma of Higher Education.
- Scan copy of extract from the test sheet (only for university students)
- Scan copies of any additional certificates of diplomas (for example DipIFR, CIMA, etc.)
- Proof of identification such as driver's license, passport or birth certificate.
- When changing the surname / name - a copy of the certificate of change of surname / name.
Students are permitted to complete a maximum of 13 examinations (including exemptions) with ACCA. Students can take session-based exams during four exam sessions a year. These take place over 5 days in March, June, September and December.
Exam Format
Exams must be taken in modular order for the ACCA Qualification, however you can attempt the papers within each module in any order.
All three Applied Knowledge exams within the ACCA qualification are taken by on-demand CBE.
Applied Skills and Strategic Professional exams are also sat by session CBEs.
Terms of registration
Applied Knowledge exams should be booked no later than 5 working days before the exam date. Contact CBE on-demand center to book exam. The list of CBE on-demand centers can be found on ACCA website. Exam result is issued right after the exam ends.
Applied Skills and Strategic Professional exams should be booked during the certain period for two nearest sessions. You can enter a maximum of four exams per exam session and a maximum of eight different exams each calendar year. Exam results are issued in 7 weeks after exam session ends. Exemptions
Depending on any existing qualifications a student may hold, exemptions can be awarded across Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills exams of the ACCA Qualification. There is a fee payable for each exemption a student claims. No exemptions are awarded for the Strategic Professional exams of the ACCA Qualification or on the basis of work experience.
Exams time limits
ACCA has no time limit rule for students to complete their Applied Knowledge/Applied Skills exams. Than you have seven years to pass the Strategic Professional exams once you pass your first Strategic Professional exam. The seven year rule applies to everyone. However, if your first eligible exam session was December 2015 or earlier, you were also given a 10 year time limit to complete the qualification, from the date you registered as a student. After your 10 year time limit is reached, you will lose any Strategic Professionals results that are seven years old, or older.

- When choosing a group, consider the time difference with your region.

- Use Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer (version 9 or higher). Channel speed should be from 256 Kbps. It is recommended to test the connection, all installed plugins, sound, etc. in advance. Our technical support service is ready to assist you if necessary.
- The online meeting is available in browsers or through the free Zoom app installed on your device (preferred).
- Recorded lectures are posted to the account within 24 hours of the class. They will be available during the entire learning period.
